Several years ago I began my education path at The Community College of Aurora. My goals were very different when I started, from where I ended up. Starting college education with an adult's perspective, I was surprised at the immediate attachment I felt for academia. It was while working on my Associates of Art that my career path changed and I knew I would be teaching at this school. As I promised myself then, I completed my Bachelor and Master of Fine Arts degrees and returned. I have been teaching at CCA ever since.

It is my passion to share my love of learning about and creating art with my students. At CCA I am able to do that through Art Appreciation, Foundations in 3-D Design and 2-D Design. For me, these are the most exciting courses because my interest in various media is broad. I work in fiber, metal, wood, and any other alternative material I can get my hands on. These courses allow me to light that flame of excitement and exploration within my students.
